Last time we checked, we were the only consultancy in the world who can say this. We value innovation and for this reason, we’re constantly creating new solutions not just for our customers, but also open source developments for the broader PeopleSoft community around the world. And speaking of worldwide development, our international team speaks more than 12 languages and spans 6 time zones.

If you’re going to take the time to apply to work with us, we want you to know a little more about how we work first.

  • CY2 was founded in the Netherlands. Our head office is in the south of the country in Den Bosch and we also have a workspace in Amersfoort, near Utrecht.

  • Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, a hybrid WFH model was normal for our employees living in the Netherlands. Dutch employees can work from Den Bosch or Amersfoort, though most of us work from home. About half of our employees live and work outside the Netherlands. For that reason, we don’t have a strong “office culture,” so the right candidate(s) must be comfortable and satisfied with a large degree of remote work

  • For applicants from outside the EU, please note that CY2 cannot sponsor EU work visas. With the exception of the United Kingdom, if you apply from outside the EU, you must be set up to work as an independent contractor from your country of residence. We cannot provide you assistance in relocating to the Netherlands or the EU. Currently we are working with contractors in the United States, Morocco and the Philippines. We have both contractors and employees in the United Kingdom.

  • Before the pandemic, our Functional Consultants and some of our Technical Consultants traveled A LOT. We’re not sure how much travel will be necessary after the pandemic, but some travel will be likely, especially for employees outside the Netherlands.

  • Our company has a fairly flat structure. We don’t have a complicated system of managers and supervisors. If you work with us, you must manage your time well and stay on top of your projects.

  • Campus Solutions is Oracle’s ERP solution for higher education institutions. It supports the student from application to graduation. It’s capable of a lot, which also means that it takes time to learn. If you have worked with Campus Solutions and/or PeopleSoft, you know that you don’t learn it from a book. You won’t be an expert after only one year. If you want to join the team with no prior PeopleSoft experience, no problem! Just prepare yourself to spend the next year learning the system. Don’t worry, we’ll help you.

  • Do you have PeopleSoft experience? Our philosophy is to keep things as “vanilla” whenever we can. If we do build something for a client, we extend the system rather than customize it. We’re currently working in PeopleTools 8.58 and 8.59. Our developers are comfortable working with Application Packages, Integrations, Activity Guides and Fluid.

  • Periodic raises based on performance. The more you learn and can do, the more your salary will increase.

  • We start with a 3-month trial period during which you will follow an in-house training which will be tailored to your knowledge and skills. After this period we’ll have an evaluation. If we work well together, your contract will be changed to a permanent one.

  • 35 vacation days, which includes the national holidays of your country of residence

  • Laptop and any gear you need to do your job (i.e headset, second screen, etc.)

  • NS Business Card for work-related travel (Dutch employees)

  • Hybrid WFH model. Employees in the Netherlands can decide for themselves how many days a week they work from our head office in Den Bosch, just a stone’s throw from the central train station, or our office in Amersfoort, also next to the train station.

Salary Range
2750 – 4000/month, based on experience

What we’re looking for
For this position and all positions at CY2, we are looking for people with a proactive, can-do attitude. You should have affinity for (higher) education and IT. Furthermore, you are willing to invest in yourself, quickly acquire knowledge and apply it in the work field.

Analytical and solution-oriented thinking is one of your strongest points.

We would like to hear from you if you meet the following profile:

  • You have a completed HBO/WO (post-secondary) education or MBO (high school) with targeted work experience
  • An education in computer science or similar is not a must, but an appropriate attitude and good analytical thinking skills are.
  • Programming related education or experience, or similar experience is required
  • You have between 0 and 15 years of work experience.
  • Affinity with and experience in education and IT. Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus – especially Oracle and/or PeopleSoft systems.
  • Experience in one of these programming languages is not a must, but an advantage: Peoplecode, SQL
  • Language: Professional competency in English is required. Competency in another language is desirable, especially Dutch, Spanish, French, Arabic or Danish.

Job Specifics
You will be working to help implement and/or maintain the Student Information System (SIS) for our new and existing clients. We are also developing our own bolt-on products with which you may be asked to assist. The language of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is Peoplecode. We don’t expect all applicants to be knowledgeable about Peoplecode and we are prepared to offer a traineeship to the right applicant.

For those with Peoplecode experience, our developers frequently work with Application Packages, Activity Guides, Integrations and Fluid.

Job Specifics
We are looking for someone who oversees the maintenance activities for our Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions customers. This person will keep an eye on the ticketing system, answer tickets where possible and otherwise delegate them to the appropriate members of the team. The tickets include both functional and technical issues, so while a technical background is not necessary, it is helpful.

In order to deliver maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, in line with SLAs, it is important to work closely with the other members of the maintenance team. While not technically a supervisor, this person must be able to motivate others to get the job done in a timely manner.

We want someone who is not afraid to make suggestions to better streamline the process. The ideal person should be a team player who can work as well independently as they can in a team.
